Where's the fighting spirit seen last season?

Haven't seen it, outplayed nearly every game recently and not like this time last season when we were on a bit of a roll, poor today lucky to get a point so I'm ****ed off and it looks like a rare win at Peterborough is needed now plus another to keep us up, a tall task on recent form that's for certain!

Started off well but soon after we scored seemed to settle back. How many times do we have to ***** foot at the back, take a leaf out of other teams and get rid. Tate (like him) but he cannot play a five yard pass every time! Bring a lot of pressure on ourselves. LDV looked good and got stuck in defending. Keeper was good, fair play seems to be getting better.

Will we stay up..? Last game of the season will decide for me.

I agree that the Alex seem weak, and allow teams to boss them around.

But today, we seemed to be carrying the fight to Orient and dominating possession for the whole of the first half. Then Ness's injury, followed by Atkinson's, totally destroyed our midfield, leading to a top-heavy attack that could not be supplied with the ball coming through the middle, where we couldn't compete. No disgrace in that, because Orient are very strong in that area, and it could be said that it was a miracle that we came away with a draw. At least Grant has now worked off his suspension.

We may not stay up, but the attendance seemed to show that precious few people still care.

4 points from 11 games, and then a revival of 43 points from the next 31 games hardly smacks of a lack of fighting spirit!

Just another moribund topic created by the Grim Reaper of this message board !
