    This years championship

How's the standard been in your opinion?

I have been impressed with the football of Bournemouth and Brentford recently but the points totals will say the top 2 promoted won't be as good as Burnley and Leicester were last year.
No team can match Burnleys total of 93 last year, nevermind Leicesters very impressive 102.

There seems to be a stronger competition going on for the play offs and automatic promotion so could be classed as a more exciting league this year.

As for you lot, you would need to win 4 out of 5 games to match last seasons points total.

I think we will be able to find out for ourselves next season.

The big surprise for me is how Derby have fallen away. They looked far and away the best team in the first half of the season, but they have since caught the inconsistency bug,
Bournemouth's goal-scoring has taken them on an excellent run. The rest is a dog-fight.
You're right - it IS exciting, but frustrating too.

On the other hand, Alf, have you seen Hull's run-in? If you can sneak ahead of the other two, your game at Hull on 9th May could be the decider. You also have a six-pointer against Leicester, while Stoke and Everton won't have much to play for when you meet them.
It might come down to you praying for a draw in the final-day Leicester v QPR game!
    I don't think it's all over.

    This SEASON'S Championship. It's a season , not a year. This year's Championship hasn't started yet!
Ahem... rant over, I'll go and lie down now.
