If Millwall go down or not is of no consequence to them, they'll still be thugs in league 1 or the Championship.
Ok someone may have dropped a monumental clanger but surely if we can prove that we always wanted to keep Rawson on and Derby had agreed to this in some form surely this lessens the punishment because it proves we were not using Rawson to gain an unfair advantage over the other clubs in the championship.
I think the FL would be pretty heartless if it was solely down to somnebody not filling in a piece of paper at the appropriate time, If this had happened in the middle or beginning of the season maybe a 3 point deduction would be more acceptable but when you are dealing with relegation issues more considerations have to be made in my mind.
My other thought is that the FL can hardly be enamoured with Millwall this season with all the crap they have caused them with their obnoxious supporters antics..not least at RUFC where by the way there are still no arrests as far as I know...

As a millwall fan I'd be gutted to go back down to a league where most clubs survive by kicking lumps out of each other, in addition your sweeping generalisation of millwall all being thugs is wrong, I do my fighting in a ring, can't comment for others but if my friends or family were threatened in any way at a football game I'd happily slap a few ppl silly!no smoke without fire in a lot of instances!moving swiftly on I hope we survive on merit!our last 5 games show that with a real lion in charge we should not be where we are in the league!
These cases are always judged strictly objectively there is never any subjectivity allowed.
The table does not lie. We are both down there for a reason. You are the worse team ive seen this season bar blackpool. WE couldnt beat them but beat you twice.Originally Posted by SouthLondonLion1985
Also, no one cares if you do your fighting in a ring. One of your fans threw a brick at a steward. Someone on minium wage. Set of scrubbers who belong in league one.
Well done you beat a club with muppets in charge all season long until now, shall we also ignore all the objects thrown from the rotherham fans as well? I don't condone the throwing off a brick by any stretch but you are not only ignorant but also v stupid if you believe that it's completely one sided. . Your lack of intelligence is underpinned by the fact you have to resort to insults and tarnish an entire club because of the actions of a minority of individuals. I've actually enjoyed discussing football with other millers but have been waiting for someone to pipe up and drag discussions down to the lowest denomination, I admit we've been awful this year, can't have been that bad to get to wembley 3 times in the last 15 years though can we. Anyway I understand why you feel the way you do about my club, your entitled to your opinion, I prefer however to look at both sides before making sweeping ge

Also what are your thoughts on palace fans who almost blinded a player? Or Chelsea/qpr fans?
The stewards wage is also irrelevant they know the risks of the job - I'm not justifying it and they shouldn't be put in a position where they are in danger but we both know at times they will be, there's plenty of safer minimum wage jobs out there. Besides there have been far worse incidents at football clubs in recent times than at millwall -finally when it kicked off at wembley the stewards were filming the fighting - can't have it both ways.
Thank you IBS, we all know millwall has an element of fans who want a ruck - it is the minority though, most of us just want to watch our team play with pride and passion something that has been lacking for 18months. Fighting should be done in a ring/octagon no weapons on never more than 1-1. End of.
Moving on when's your next game? Good comments from SE in paper today!
