New poster on here, been supporting the Alex for many years now but due to working on most Saturdays and living over 100 miles away difficult to see many games. This season first 2 were the maulings at MK Dons and Orient! Recently came up to Crawley at home, thought it a shocking game and Peterborough away where we played much better. Still got a lot of time for Steve Davis due to his past history with us, 2 Wembley wins beat can't be argued with. Friends down my way, live near MK, always praise Crewe and what we stand for.
What I do want to question though are recent tactics, can't help but think with the front players we have we should be scoring more goals. Against Crawley and Peterborough we played 3 up front but the right 3? Surely Ajose and Dalla Valle are very similar players, my point is should we not be playing one of those two and then a wide player to feed them i.e. Cooper, Inman or Colclough. Also although Ikpeazu has come on loan, I have always liked Haber when he has play

Bit late in the day now to start talking of Tactics any Tactics to get a Win will now be ok thanks if it means kicking the opposition off the field or scoring from a corner or Huffing the ball Anything?

Think things sometimes pay off other times dont? Thats football - would here woould have selected the team to play sheff utd - steve obv sets it up either to win or to get a result - again wait until the end of the season until we know where we are - but a lot of questions to be asked and interesting to see our squad for next year
