    Utter Shambles

This club has died in the last eight months due to the so called guardians pi $$ poor stewardship. Letting that mug McCall last for five months before he walked. Weeks to appoint someone new and where are we now. Well done to all . You should be proud of your efforts. As for the team. Well its full of old men and duds. Before any of the Happy Mob jump in talking their usual tripe, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO WE PLAY IN THE PLAY OFF WE WILL GET PUMPED. As ive said for months from top to bottom its rotten.

Utter pish. At no time did we play the ball on the deck going forward. Going down. Might be a chance to try and build a good young team. Unconvinced IB is the man we need to do this, cos that was crap.

As i've said on numerous occasions - its the salary thieves - McManus, Ainsworth especially. Then there certain players who need to go as they have gone downhill rapidly -Lasley. The loan players have had their uses but we need players signed long term to gain some consistency of selection and performance. Finally get rid of the players who never were - McHugh, Lawson, Vigurs, Angol. We have a good basis of young players signed up once the clearout takes place - we need to re-build as soon as the final ball is kicked this season!!

No bottle, no fight, no pride. We don't need to prepare for the play offs, we need to start preparing for life in the championship right now. If that's the level of performance you get in a must win game, what chance have we got?

That's just it, after the Thistle defeat I believed we were doomed to the playoffs and it was then all about preparing for them. However we've shown yet again tonight that we just don't and won't have what it takes to go into a match like that, against a side with upward momentum, and prevail because we have neither the quality or the character to do so. Tonight we have taken a big, expectant support to a match against a side who haven't won in 13 and we rolled over meekly and got pumped, we would have zero chance against the Championship side full of confidence in the playoffs.

Quite simply, we are doomed to relegation and are going down with a whimper.

The frightening thing is, Les Hutchison says whether we stay up or go down Baraclough will be manager next season.

Then the support will vote for their feet and we'll be lucky to fill one stand at Fir Park next season. All I heard leaving the ground tonight was disillusion and anger toward Baraclough and the team and various folk saying they wouldn't be back.

There is no evidence whatsoever that IB has what it takes to oversee a recovery in the lower leagues, quite the opposite in fact. We were in safety when he took over and the squad, already unfit, uninterested and low in confidence before he took over got even worse, then he added several of his own new recruits and 90% of them have been a disaster. Long, Straker, Johnson, Nathan Thomas, Laing were no better than what we had before, worse in some cases, and now with them and this manager, here we are, facing the playoffs which we will lose and the club's future is in serious jeopardy.

Can't disagree with any of that except to say the club is not in jeopardy. It is in Motherwell and wil
