    Colchester 1 v Swindon 1

Could have been better for us but overall positive just the same. C.O.Y.R!

Means the draw now keeps us up.

We are now 10/1 to be relegated which is the best odds for some time !

I'm not a gambling man but if someone asked me how much I'd pay to ensure we stayed up it would be fair amount. Perhaps worth putting that on the 10/1 bet. That way at least there is some consolation if we were to go through the trap door.

I was hoping for a Swindon win but a draw is not too bad, Swindon were a bit lucky some poor finishing by Colchester could have condemned them to league 2 football. The one positive is that we don't need a win to survive, a draw will be enough to avoid relegation.

Agree good odds I bet some of the Directors have taken it up especially with our Minus Goal difference, which still could be the difference

Bigger odds if you bet on the matches, so Bradford, Crawley and Notts County to win is 18/1 (would send us down I believe)' then swap Crawley / County for Colchester it'd up in the 30/1 odds as Colchester are 4/1.

Think your right about the odds however it's slightly more complicated...

For crewe to go down the following needs to happen..

    Bradford win @2/1

And 2 of the following 3 need to happen
    Crawley winds @ 2/1
    Colchester wins @5/1
    Notts county wins @ 13/8

So there are 3 bets ..bra, cra, col...bra, col, nc...bra cra, nc

Odds are 51/1, 22/1, 47/1...level stakes to return £11 would require an outlay of about 95p so you would be saving a bit Ie 5p for every 100p
