Which of this failed squad do we need to get rid of?

Probably easier to list those that should stay

George Thorne (but we can't spend the whole season gibbering on about how great he will be if he plays)
Chris Martin (but we can't plan our whole season around his narrow style of play)
Craig Bryson (Hopefully he will be fitter again)
Keogh (but he can't be the only defender he needs quality in the other positions

If we can get a price for the others sell, most are Scottish/Irish internationals. And definitely sell Hughes while we still can.

Unlike in previous years we actually have players to sell-usually we are only too keen to get them of our books for free.

This squad is not as bad as people are making out , but there are a number of players who simply are not good enough and need replacing where possible.

1.christie...awful ..yes he is young , but on the season just gone...get rid
2.warnock..looks like a slow ,legs gone player
    3.lee naylor..why bother.
    4.forsyth...
5.albentosa...regardless of time to settle etc...just looks a donkey
6.shotton...accident waiting to happen every match

Just made that list ..and all but one,i think, are macs permanent signings?
    Truly poor purchases.

Whitbred -contract up anyway and a sick note
Ward - average championship winger no end product an injury prone.
Bryson- too lightweight with him an Hughes in the team technically not great.
Buxton- proven championship defender cud get money for him an make room for rawson, no would have him if Sheff u get promoted
    Warnock
    Forsyth
Shotton but think we r stuck with him for now
Eustace- contract up anyway could retire possibly
    Sammon- donkey

Let's start with Rattea - free transfer to the Shef United board.

Brainjim - intellectual and cultural attache to Rattea - big step up for both.

Surely hardly any as but a few months ago these players were valued at millions of pounds and were "ready for the Prem".

    Fickle!

As it happens I think Garibaldi has a very valid point. Last season, and this season up to February, I don't think there was an awful lot of wholesale criticism. So, what has changed? I don't entirely buy the SM speculation as an excuse and, whilst we have suffered injuries in key positions (Bucko and Eustace) there's got to be more to it.

For me, it's bringing in the loan players. Now I don't blame them, they have done exactly what was asked of them especially Ince. I didn't even think it was a bad idea at the time (bring in some proven quality but on loan because we can't afford to buy them, to help us get over the line) but, I wonder how much their arrival upset the team ethos and mentality? I know we relied on loans previously (Bamford, Ibe, Wisdom) but they have been up and coming youngsters that

I can, Keogh is not a defender or a skipper.
Should be one of the first on list.

I might agree on the captain argument, but from what I've seen this season he i
