    Was Rattea right all along?

Not about improvement his views on that are clearly nonsense. Rather on McClaren's managerial prowess and his ability to improve the squad. Hiring out prem players for a few months is hardly a masterstroke but why in god's have we been lumbered with Shotton and Warnock? So unless the development squad has anyone decent will this aspect of McClaren's tenure have to go down as a monumental failure.

For the example you have chosen, I would say Cloughs team...
BUT was that riddled with injuries at the time?
Our best startin 11 now fully fit would have a better balance.
You seriously need to move on from Clough.. He's in the past and now doing exactly what he did for us at the Blades... Boring 20,000 people to death.

    Move on fella.

Angry I don't think he's dwelling on clough In fact his first statement sets that aside weather I agree or not.

Point is have the frailties I highlighted long ago been realised?

If you look at the strongest starting 11 are these mcclaren a players or a n other predominantly and there may lay your answer!
