Scenes of unbridled joy have broken out in the streets of Nottingham after it was confirmed that Notts County have made their long awaited return to the top tier of English football with a remarkable result at bogey team Gillingham.

The champagne was on ice until the very last when 3 late goals ensured that Notts, the world's oldest and most successful club took their place amongst the elite of English football.
