    Who goes, who stays?

I am sure many of us are waiting to see who is retained and who let go. Had hoped to see something by now. However, as there is nothing official, here is my list:
    Goalkeepers:
Darlow; goes unless we can renew for another year
    De Vries: stays
    Evtminovtays
    Defence:
    Lichaj stays
    Hobbs stays
    Wilson stays
    Mancienne stays
    Riera stays
Fox doubtful, but stays due to Financial constraints
    Lascelles goes
    Collins goes
    Kane goes

    Midfield:
    Osborn stays with better contract
    Cohen stays
    Tesche stays
    Lansbury stays
    Reid stays
    C. Burke stays
    O. Burke stays
    Grant stays
    Antonio stays
    Vaughan goes
Gardner would love him to stay, but don't think that will be a choice
    McLaughlan goes

    Strikers
    Fryatt stays
    Assombalonga stays
    Walker stays
    Mackie stays
    Paterson stays (just)
    Blackstock stays (just)
    Veldiyk goes
    Alpom goes

We would need a top goal keeper to replace Darlow until others are ready and a fit goalscorer from the lower divisions.

    Top 6 finish

You're right about Harding and Halford; I forgot them. I would let both go, although I might keep Harding instead of Fox.
As far as Abdoun is concerned my mind refused to believe he was still our player; but we do not need to keep him; may well have to buy him out.
Not sure about Lars; if we could sell him for close to what we paid I would do so in a heartbeat!

On top of those you both release I'd :

Cohen /Reid : go or get coaching roles

    BLACKSTOCK
    PATERSON
    Majewski
    Wilson sell
    Lansbury sell

judging from his tweets I wouldn't be surprised to see. C. Burke on the list

Also we aren't including Britt in the squad apparently due to the extent of his injury

Injury prone players we can't rely on Hobbs (sadly) Reid (sadly) Wilson (Won't be missed) Cohen (sadly, possibly career over) Vaughan (won't be missed) Blackstock (Won't be missed), players to be sold Lansbury and Antonio, I would love for them to stay but we will have to sell to balance the books along with Paterson and maybe Blackstock, I'd go backwards and sell a lot to balance the books and start again if I was the owner and get FFP off our backs,

    16th place finish.

Totally agree Es*** - reality has to prevail over sentiment. We need a settled team as far as is possible, and players who are injured every couple of games just disrupt the team understanding.

I would though, with a group of hard working players, hope for a finish much higher than 16th, but that will depend largely on the quality and detemination of the players coming in. It's never boring is it ?
