It's a poor day for the North. Cameron will have to buy off his shire-county euro-sceptics and the Scots. There'll be nowt left for anywhere outside London which sucks up most of the taxes all of us pay. We're left with disgracefully poor hospitals, long waits to get a GP appointment, potholed roads, dreadful public transport, internet and mobile phone services and wind-turbines keep springing up across our landscape at an increasing rate. I sat last night and watched the Tory lady MP for Wandsworth's acceptance speech in which she said that she would work to improve transport in her constituency. In Wandsworth? Has she been outside London?

If i was Labour i.d put setting up a secret unit right now.
