    France it is then.

    Wolves can confirm that the squad will head out to France, as part of pre-season training, from July 5th-11th.
    The squad are to be based at the French National Football Centre in Clairefontaine, located just over 30 miles South West of Paris and regarded as one of the best footballing academies in Europe.
    The team are set to play two friendly games, provisionally set for July 8th and July 10th, but the opponents will not be officially confirmed until those fixtures and venues are finalised. It is likely that one game will be at the Clairefontaine complex itself and one at a stadium in the greater Paris area.
    Wolves officials are currently working with their French counterparts in the aim of organising supporter access for the games, and there are also plans for an official club trip during the week. However, fans are advised not to make any travel arrangements until all the plans are confirmed.

    France, foreign yet accessible! Have Wolves played pre-season friendlies there before, if so, how long ago? Pity I will be teaching at the time...a missed opportunity to practice my high school french.

    1933 was our last French tour Tunds playing Marseille , Nice and Racing Club de Paris.

    Are you still doing the trip then Eve after what's been released today by the club? two games, but club haven't still said anything for definate regarding tickets, they've just stated that they're trying to secure a limited number.

    No mate as I said on the pre season friendly thread it's a total anticlimax, It'll save me some money though. not that I bother about them much but our whole pre season itinerary is totally uninspiring!
