Absolutely excellent news.
Reading between the lines I suspect it means he's decided he's going next summer, but at least we get another year to find a replacement and we'll still get some money when we do sell him next year.
We're shaping up to be a decent side again next season. Hopefully we can start a bit better.

Fyvie...do not know his situation but will play well tonight.
Fraser...got shafted by the club as in Brown/Milne at the time.
McGuire...signed a 3 1/2 year contract on £7,500 a week without any bonuses of which there surely was at Derby, has moved on but will still command that money and will continue to do so.
Grimmer...got offered a decent deal by Fulham.
The grass is not always greener, however I do not know how much you command per week, when there are mouths to feed, sometimes you need to move on...not always though, but considering how fickle clubs can be with sacking managers you must looik over your shoulder.
