Who was responsible for appointing McClaren?

    Rush?
    GSE?
    Appleby?
    The Board?
Two lots of managerial compensation in less than 20 months, you couldn't make it up.
Those responsible for SM's appointment should worry, rough calculation suggests 50% of the season ticket monies may have gone on compensation for this shambles.
If I was a lead investor I would want an explanation of why my investment money was being spent like this.

only in your opinion why not just calm down spouting off your opinions will not change our view of your posts or your view that others should go. why do you only post rhetoric not praise?

Praise is made where praise is due, there is no praise due in this shambles.
FYI I have praised Mel Morris, I have nothing but contempt for Rush.

Watford and Norwich did and seem to have done OK!

Why criticise the board for making decisive moves when things aren't going well? or are you trying to imply sacking Clough (who has hardly torn up trees up the road ) was an error?

It wasn't as if the current situation could have been forseen, these things happen and I for one are glad we have a board whoa re decisive, plan successions and act in the interests of getting success at this club.

So what's the next stage in the master plan? Seems like a shambles to me.

To appoint a well respected coach with excellect contacts throughout Europe.
So nothing really different from the appointment of SM.
The board have been let down by an emplyee and have taken steps to address that. Does not seem like a shambles to me..
Why do people always spout up in hindsight.

Your Clough - tinted spectacles are making you say some stupid things. In any case I don't believe you know what the compensation figure for MacClaren will be. Do you not think this decision was that of the investors?

You clearly aren't reckoning with the increase in ticket sales and club turnover in the last 18 months as a result of MacClaren's appointment. We have sacked a manager whose results are still better than his predecessor's at any stage. Pat Nevin on the radio is suggesting the club have made a mistake since we are losing a first rate coach.
