    Rush comes out of hibernation!!!

He must have realised its spring ... And a bit more!

    Another scripted interview surprise suprise!

Could he look any more uncomfortable and forced? And what's with the Darth Vader impression every time he has to hit the punch line to each rehe****d question!!!!

Sincere ... Yeah it really doesn't look it! - view external link

You need to take a step back I never expressed a love or any affiliation to Clough. I merely pointed out that as at the time of his departure last season there wasn't an improvement in comparable fixtures! And I stated this season there had been a decline ... Ironically the review with the owners agree with me so you look somewhat foolish, as a number of others do, even trying to have a go at me

Oh and by the way glass houses ... Have a look at 80% of your posts and who you snipe at because they won't say happy things you want them too. Maybe Russia o

At least we don't have to listen to Tom 'the master of spin' Glick anymore, now his interviews were pointless and dull!

    Are you thick or what?

Would you expect him to be smiling and deliver his answers easily after having to sack MacClaren with whom he presumably had a a close working relationship? Don't think it is a bad interview though I personally don't agree with the sacking of MacClaren. The only valid point you have is in your title, where it is valid to ask about Rush's silence March through to now.

Don't know if you read the BBC website report on the sacking and saw the performance figures for the last 5 or 6 seasons - you must be the only one who still rejects the improvement brought in by MacClaren in BOTH of his seasons compared with

In my opinion, there is only one plonker in that interview and his is not Sam.

I think it's pretty good that he's done an interview so soon after sacking Mac & dont think he avoided any questions. Prepared answers maybe, but you wouldn't expect him to go into an interview & adlib would you?
Rush has always kept the fans updated with stuff IMO.
I wouldn't say he's been 'hibernating'. That's more like Mike Ashley at Newcastle.

As with anyone in their position they have to be slightly politician in their delivery.
IMO Rush is very good at his job, his job is to move Derby forward, football is difficult as there are so many factors that can inhibit performances beyond your control and managerial remit and therefore on promises made to fans - hence the political stance taken by many.

The difference between Rush and Glick is that Rush actually talks the talk. Glick IMO was also very good at his job, one of the best public speakers I've witnessed - again could make a very good politician. However he said a lot and delivered little in what he promised.

Rush takes actions that may not be popular with all but they are certainly proactive with DCFC's business interests at heart and let's not forget their are many stakeholders at the club and the ones that have the most say are those that invest their hard earned million into the club each year to keep us competitive and in line with FFP. We have got good owners at
