    Thank You So Much

    Hi all

I am coming on to thank some of your fans. My dad who is a life long season ticket holder at Preston fell down some steps at Wembley at half time and hit his head.

We ended up being taken to St Mary's major trauma unit and some of your fans even though I had my Preston top on in the front of the ambulance moved all of the cones in the road to let us through and waved us through.

My dad had Bain surgery that night and is still in intensive care but is improving.

I really wanted to say a big thank you if you were one of the fans who helped - this is what football is about in my eyes.

Yes we want to win, but there has to be respect..

I really hope you get promotion next year, I will be following and supporting you.

Once again thank you for helping my dad.

    Graham

There's just three Swindon fans who use this board Graham, but they would definitely have helped if they were in the vicinity because they are proper gents.

This Claret hopes that your father makes a full recovery.

Sorry to hear about your Dad on such a good day for Preston fans, as Stan has said only 3 resident Robins on the board but they would surely have given a helping hand, hope the outcome is good for your Dad fella.

    Hi Graham
Thanks for sharing your views on the kind behaviour of some of our fans when you are in such a distressing time yourself

I sincerely hope your father makes a full recovery to enjoy next season to the full

Thanks to Stan and Altobelli for their kind words about me Laz and Callum

They are right as well tho because there is no doubt in my mind that any one of us would have tried to help your dad if we could

I will take the lebert to post your post on a couple of other forums in the hope of the message reaching those that helped

I don't think it was Laz as he was in behind the goal like I was in the East End, not sure if Callum went but I know he reads this early a.m.'s

All the best and keep us updated on your dads progress please
