    Scott Wiseman signs

Right full back Scott Wiseman on a two year deal from Preston.

Another great signing. The Iron are not messing about. With a left full back still to come we are going to end up with almost a brand new defence and after last season that's certainly what we needed.

With at least one, possibly two quality attacking midfielders and a striker also likely to be on the radar this is shaping up to be a team that can really achieve this coming season.

Hi Fletch West Brom fan and you may wonder what one is doing on a Scunny Forum lol.

Well i enter this competition that requires knowledge from all 4 Leagues and the league is split up into 5 sections based on the Betting Prices to win the league.

At the moment your about 3/4 the way down the betting which to be honest i think you should be more middle of the range.

I was just looking at your team and stats last season and seems you can score the goals but you conceeded far too many, hence like you said a new defence coming in.

Are you confident after these 3 signings? I know about Dawson, top class signing i feel for this Division, 100% and thats what you need, talking of which how did our Liam O'neil do last season?

The other 2 defenders do you know much about them? I know theres but thats about it.

Anyway i might required a bit of help when the competition comes out in July if you don't mind?

Thanks mate and anyone else ho might help me.

    p.s i think this division next s

We still have some strengthening to do in defence. For example we have no left full back as yet and I'm expecting another central defender before we kick off again. The three new players brought in so far are all tough characters and we will no longer be lacking in bite in that area.

Whether or not we become serious play-off candidates will depend on the quality of the forward thinking players we recruit and the noises coming from the club are very positive in that respect. One thing for certain is that the team starting next season will show little resemblance to the team that struggled last season.

Liam O'Neil was a joy to watch when he arrived but typically for a young player his performances had levelled out a bit by the time he went back injured. Always tried to play the right way though and absolutely no doubting his talent.
