I was at my gran's in Yaarkshire. The rest of the family were nattering, I remember telling them that there was something happening and they should watch the tv. We watched in a kind of numb horror. I switched it off before the match started and, as a footy mad 13 year old in an era when there were very few live matches, that was unheard of.
Juve fans have been criticised in some quarters for not forgiving and forgetting Heysel, I can't blame them to be fair.
Sadly it was the behaviour of pool fans on that day which led to much of the reaction to Hillsborough. Their reputation was such that initially the reaction was 'Oh it's them causing trouble again'. Two very sad days when many people. like us who love their football lost their lives. RIPOriginally Posted by trickydick
