Old Keswickian Fish and chip shop. Right in the centre of the town, in the market square. Sit in or take away.
Casa Bella Italian restaurant.
Dog and Gun pub.
There are loads of other places too. You won't struggle to find anywhere.

I know people who might not be best pleased with me recommending a Wetherspoons pub, but the one in Keswick is a little different. I have been in it a couple of times and it is fascinating. It is the ex Police Station, and still has the cells and the old court room and a walk around it is interesting.
There's an Italian called Luca's on the way in to the town which is very good, and generally the pubs are pretty decent as well. There's also an Indian (can't remember the) by the big car park on the way to the lake, which is great value and quite nice.
There is a shop on the bottom of the main street (the post office used to be in there, it is now next door) called the lake district trading co. If you go in there, ask for Roger or Ben Purkiss and then ask them for a copy of their eating out guide (I believe their new one is just being done), that's as good a place as any to go from. They'll also be able to point you in the direction of the decent boozers, Ben knows his real a
Kingfisher chippy much better!
cheers-appreciated.
With your penchant for licking the anus of tramps then may I suggest Whitehaven?
There is also a Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club there that you may like, the locals who used to mine for jam have some great tales to tell, you can go marching with them.
Terence you do have a potty mouth-a little style required. No class.
why would i go near whitehaven when i'm in keswick-halfwit.
you keep the tramps of whitehaven/wukkie to yourself.
Try and show some class.
You seem to have a problem with falling out with everyone on here.
Says a lot about you.
No-we're one big happy family -even halfwits like yourself.
