I didn't want him at Derby, but he won me and plenty of other Rams fans over!

He'll be their best manager since Bobby!

They'll take some convincing. I do not envy him the task. In a way, I hope he does well.

Would have felt like that once, not so sure after the way he seems to have manipulated things. Should keep the compo down though. Maybe he'll return to try and 'raid' some of his signings.

Of your current squad, who do you think would improve Newcastle's first team?

Just to be clear, that's a question not a comment on what I think.

He'd be welcome to some of those he signed for us. Your fans also to seem to agree that your best players were inherited from Nigel.

The 'raid' comment was tongue in cheek Tricky. He has many virtues but his actual signings are, at best, largely unproven. Bryson, from the season before last, Hughes on a good day, Thorne, if ever fit and Martin, in the system that suits him, could all do a job but I don't know enough about Newcastle to know what they need.

I did get that you were joking about the quality of the signing he made. But it got me thinking about whether you may lose any players, if Mac came calling.

Surprised about the "Hughes on a good day" comment though. Surely a £15m midfield player should be good enough for a team that narrowly avoided relegation last season!?!?

Well he's worth more than anything you've got...not £15 million though. Suppose Steve Mc might try and hijack any prospective Ince bid.
