If Bamford is worth £10 million...

First time for posting a new topic so hope it provokes discussion. Just seen that Chelsea want £10 million for Bamford. Excessive in my opinion but what does that make the likes of Will worth? Prior to this I'd have guessed no more than £7-8 million but at the end of last season I'd have been far more concerned about losing Hughes, Martin or Thorne than seeing Bamford go. It also begs the question, what does it make Tom Ince worth?

    Tom Ince?

    Next to **** all.
No one really wants him. He's an enigma that drifts in and out which ever club he's at.

If was worth the hype around him, he'd still be at a prem club. Yet Liverpool/Palace/Hull/Blackpool deemed him as a waste of space.

He plays when he wants, yet he his dad thinks he's Messi.

Don't start the tree huggers on Will Hughes value... They only look on in envy. Also some on here have him valued at 500k.
Bamford, 10 Mill !! No way but someone will take a punt on him, maybe overseas. I would think only Prem teams would be looking to splash that cash here and he is unproven at that level. 10 mill... Big gamble for the camp one..

I think the important factor being missed here, is this, Patrick Bamford is a Chelsea player.

Chelsea can value him at that and not worry if no one pays it, it's not an amount of money they would lose sleep about.

What is Hughes, Ince or any other player 'worth'? Quite simply, whatever the buying and selling club agree on

He's not really though is he Tricky? A Chelski 'player' I mean. They own him but he's seldom played for them and hasn't ever proved himself beyond Championship level. Not as effective up front as Martin, or Bent for that matter, not as good out wide, in my opinion, as Ince and not had the same number of consistent Championship seasons as Hughes but £10 million is the asking price.

I imagine if bfird moves this year it'll be for about 6 or 7 million. I can see him having a season long loan in the prem first though tbh.

I guess when an average striker is £20 milion in the prem, then £10 million is a snip!

On a simialr theme, I'm amazed Liverpool ahve signed Ings from Burnley - I know he is on a free, but did they not learn from buying Lambert last year???

Ten years younger and he did score 11 goals in a struggling side last year, but probably not.
