    Tom Huddlestone anyone?

While we are raiding Hull, would anyone like to see Tom Huddlestone back at Derby?

I can remember him once saying he would love to end his footballer career with Derby

He is only 28. Would be a great asset at the right price.

Yes he's the last real quality midfielder to play for us.

However wages would be an issue especially as Morris rightly talks about sustainability. Also he's exactly what hull need next season so would be daft to let him go.

Would love him back... Quality player and I was probably more gutted when he left than any othe Derby player I can remember.
Could we play Thorne and Tom in the same team in a 4-2-3-1?

Not sure wages would be an issue, a work mate who supports Hull City says that the high earners at Hull have wage reductions on relegation written in their contracts.

Still don't see Huddlestone coming back, he would get much better offers from prem teams.

Thorne and huddlestone in the 2 in front if the defence. Thorne the enforcer and tom the quarter back. That'd be something very special. We can only dream though.

Yes a quality player who played for England at his peak. Probably a victim of the seasonal managerial changes at Spurs and I was surprised that he ended up at Hull. Very astute signing by Steve Bruce. Unlikely to see him in a Rams shirt again, but all the same a top pro.
