Odds For CUFC's Promotion This Forthcoming Season

Does anyone have a simple mathematical formula for figuring this out?

Could they post it here if they do?

Top Dog and Jay1 must have a simple one.

Seeing how they can't count past their fingers - OK 20, if they have their shoes off. But, isn't that considered higher math by them?

There are only two reliable formula.

There are two possible outcomes, either we will be promoted or we won't be. Two outcomes = 50/50 or Evs.

Then you could say, there are 24 sides in the division, four will be promoted. Therefore the odds are 24/4 (6/1).

The odds are the same for every side in the division.

But then, every possible outcome would be equally as likely. How many potentially different positional outcomes could you have in a season in a 24 team division? You'd need Spock to work it out.

Suffice it to say, if we get promoted this season it would be odd.

    Piggy: Thanks.

You have really helped me out here.

We now have a 50 - 50 chance of going up.

I had a feeling we were improving and along with that improvement goes our chances for success!

    GO BLUES!

    UNITED!

    WE'RE GO'N UP!
