Not according to the article in yesterday's Derby Telegraph about the bid being rejected. It referred to 'a six figure bid'. That is less than £1m!

Apparently we payed £1.5m for Shackell and Burnley turned it down and we making a much improved offer of £2m. Well according to that it's not a much improved offer,an Burnley are likely to turn it down again. He should be worth at least £4m.

    'Apparently' according to what source?

'At least £4m' for a player of his age with one year left on his contract? Dream on.

So what if he is 31 at least he is better than Keogh any day of the week. £1.5m to £2m is not a considerable amount of jump to offer a club who is trying to keep him as he is their captain and all. If we want to get him we will have to give Burnley an offer they can't refuse.

    £4m!!! your off your trolley!

32yrs old in few weeks, 1 year left on his contract at Burnley. and you think £4m is a suitable price tag! All I'll say is I'm glad ur not in charge of our finances or we'd be in the same position as QPR!

I'd love you to Show me the last time a championship team payed £4m for a championship defender!?
