    Plus £2/3 million to us then yes, I'd say it was a possibility.

    Burnley turn down 1.5 m for shackell and rightly so, and we don't want Keogh

    If Shackell throws his toys out of his pram, I can see Dyche letting the player spend his last 12 months at Burnley training with the "stiffs" rather than sell for a paltry amount to a main promotion rival.

    As Dyche said last week, Burnley do not need to sell any contracted players and have their eyes on the bigger picture - the mega new Premier League television deal starting in 2016/17.

    I don't blame Shackell for one minute using the speculation and Derby interest for trying to get the best deal he can for the next 3/4 years.

    But £5 million might tempt Dyche if Derby really think Shackell is the final ***** piece in their promotion jigsaw

    If Derby were to offer 5 million forShackell I'm sure would drive him down here himself he is a championship defender who is knocking on 32 not 22 wake up chap.

    Shackell will be a Derby player next season. And it will be half that amount, watch this space
