That is some going. I think my 18 year old brother who has nothing but a phone contract coming in or out has a better credit rating than that.

No one important, only HMRC again. If everyone else can avoid paying taxes why can't we ? The money will only go to stop Parliament from sinking into the Thames. The rest of us will just have to suffer austerity unless we relocate to Scotland.

You've got to admit they do set the contemporary standard for inept financial management since Fawaz took over. Firstly there was all the talk of unpaid / late paid wages and agents, and travel expenses.

Then an official complaint from us re gate money.

Feb 14: winding up petition from Impact Sports Management (undisclosed value)

June 14: winding up petition from le Bistro / Elior ( £200k)

Aug 14: winding up petition from HMRC (£ 1.8m)

June 15: winding up petition from HMRC (undisclosed value).

Its an impressive list of ineptness: as in all cases the debts have been satisfied and petitions dismissed, what have they been doing? Its no wonder they screwed FFP up if they dont know who they owe what to and don't pay it on time!

Having said that, their performance in this regard leaves them nowhere near the top - since 1984 there have been 7 winding up petitions by HMRC/IR/C&E against Hartlepools and 6 each against Southend and Bournemouth. Still a way to go to get the record!!
