    Sako?

I have been out of it for a while. Is he still with us or gone?

He's a free agent, his contract expired at the end of the season. He's been connected with various premiership and foreign sides... paper talk though.

His wage demands and his ambition to play premiership football will likely rule us out.

There have been quite a few clubs linked to Sako. Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City and west brom in this country.

Leicester City are rumoured to be the only ones willing to agree to his wage demands, thought to be in the region of £50k.

Have also read that Besiktas are interested in him. Not Premier League football, but they do offer a spot in Europa League

He is reported to have said that he does not want to leave the UK.

Well only a few days to go, and to my knowledge Backery Sako has still not found another club. Are his agents demands for his wage, far too high, or is Sako being too selective.

Unless a deal is done soon the season will start and Backery will be watching on the TV.

He could of course, suddenly realise that he could be playing in our team again and making a push for the Premier League, that he so desires.

It does seem odd that he still hasn't signed elsewhere. It would not surprise me if he was with us next season, however unlikely that may seem.

If his Agent gets him about 50k per week that will do him now , that's about the Baggie max so expect he will go for that.
