It sti an open book but we can't force him to sign if he wants to stay he will.

Like Chris says set to be sorted out this week nothing has happened prior so it hasn't been ongoing.

This is correct, although we have bid his release clause believed to be £4m there's no guarantee he will sign for derby.

Personally I dunno why he would want to stay at hull though as he wasn't deemed good enough when they were prem. Newcastle haven't bid as yet

Looks a bit like both Hull and Ince playing for time here Both hoping Newcastle come in then Hull will be happy they don't let him go to a rival Ince will increase his wages What ever happens his dad will be making the decision for him

Would be thrilled if he signed but i'm sure we're looking at others too. Perhaps if Jota was available for 2 million then that would allow us to improve the squad in other areas as well.

It's exciting and the expectation is there. The signings so far have been sensible and team specific...I course any new signings will be geared around the team but none of of them are 'stella' and will create the fervour that DCFC fans crave IMO.

Ince...I would like but at the same time I wouldn't be gutted if we didn't sign him. I think there are other suitors out there for less and also loanees (Ince was a loan of course) who could do a job. (Ince could be an investment though long term...if there is such a thing given the player power there is).

There are plenty of twists and turns and we won't be putting all out eggs into one basket but I'm fairly confident of at least a couple of intended targets coming off...too much press coverage and public awareness for DcFc to have egg on their face.

I really appreciate the input from Chris and SDSR it's definitely a highlight for all on this forum. Very few forums have the activity that this one has and IMO reinforces the support base an
