Ciftci - would you want your club to sign him?

Not a bad player to be fair, but I'm surprised the tims are in for him and bidding. He's going to pick up a sizeable ban and in Scotland much of the football public would be against him.Surprised he's not going south tbh.

According to sir walloper, the biter is going to wigan as they put in a bid for him. Ignore that he's told wigan he's not interested, walloper is never wrong on these matters.

Sir Walloper doesn't even know how many days are in a week

In answer to Aguyiknow's question, Im not really fussed if we sign Ciftci. Suppose he would be a useful squad player to have but I don't think he is any better than the current strikers.

wally is the most profound poster on here, it was only yesterday his teachings informed us that clubs in england have more money than clubs in scotland. I never knew that.

As Celtic already have a striker who's in a bit of bother, do you not think they of all clubs should be giving someone like Ciftci who clearly bit an opponent and then lied about it, a wide berth?

Put it this way - I'm thankful he doesn't play for my team

I'm always interested when managers see things in players that punters do not. To me Ciftci is an aggressive bam and I think he'll always be an aggressive bam.

Of course, it could be that Ronny thinks Celtic need more aggressive bams, or it could be that he sees something we don't. It's not for his goal ration anyway.

Time may tell but, personally, I'd probably not want him in the team.

The biting Turk is a phuckin liability and an accident waiting to happen.

He's got away with a few things so far but not this one I think.

Let's hope he gets a 12 game ban and phuck anyone he happens to be playing for at that time. They deserve it.

Why would anyone buy him ahead of knowing what kind of ban he'll get?

The guy is trouble and has the potential, at least in Scotland, of being out of the game for anything between 6 and 12 games. For what he did I hope it's at the upper end of the scale.

Looking more likely he's off to Celtic Park...

Because he's fairly cheap & Celtic have strikers to cover until his ban (if he gets one) is up?
