If we sign Ward, then Tavernier we're going to have in Buxton, Halford & Richardson 3 more who can play right back. Buxton even though he hasn't played & Richardson can go. Same at centre back one of Broadfoot or Wood will go. Don't know why we signed Halford & Collins.
Buxton is a good player, he will do a great job at right back, and his crossing ability is excellent.
Halford can play in multiple roles and could replace Arnason in defensive midfield. With Collins and Thorpe at the back.
Unfortunately, although a Rotherham lad, I think Richardson should go. as should Wood.
Keep Broadfoot as a backup to Thorpe and Collins.
As for Tavernier, him and Buxton can compete for Right back, and he can also play on the Right wing and compete with Ward. (If we get him)

looks like it was eric black
the report also mentions a 600k bid for derbyshire .. would a 600k bid plus tavs succeed ? - view external link
Cheers, Eric Black it probably was, as you said, but you never know.
If I were Evans, I'd just bid an offer too good to turn down for Tavernier and see what we get.
I would love to see tavs back in a millers shirt but in no way would include Derbyshire in any deal. Derbyshire is a proven championship goalscorer, where as tavs is still unproven at championship level
lets just clarify...Wigan have bid £1 million followed by £1.5 million and now thought a bid of £600000 might do the trick!!!!
Oddly Raynor who clearly has no idea whats going on says there have been no bids.

Agree, but i can see that been the deal unfortunately.
