    Portsmouth Away

Another new user to the forum, I've read enough of the last few seasons and i thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.

I will be going to Fratton park as i live about 5 minutes away, no excuse not to , sadly my work colleagues have bought tickets in the Portsmouth end so I better sit on my hands for 90 minutes as the Fratton faithful are not the most forgiving bunch!

Last time I was there we drank in The Shepards Crook which was near the ground and easy to park.
    Getting our tickets tomorrow.

The Shepherd's Crook is the epicentre for all things Pompey. It's a lively pub and acts as the focal point for most home fans pre and post game drinks. I'm not sure it caters for away fans anymore but I may be wrong.

Was fine last time, good mix of fans and a good atmosphere.. I bow to your local knowledge though.

    Another new poster...

I'll be there and probably at the good companion as parking is good... Looking forward to the game as I can't get to many games since Pompey turned rubbish and saints turned good!

The Good Companion sounds okay, fairly near the ground as well.

Ive found the Red White and Blue accept and welcome away fans. Otherwise Town Centre Spooners or Beer and Kitchen (old Mucky Duck). Although Ive never had a problem in the Shepherds Crook or pubs around Fratton Park. As for sitting in the Pompey End,Portsmouth Ram, you should have a word with yourself!
