Matias turned down moves to Malaga and Besiktas as well as having numerous championship clubs interested in him to join Sheffield Wednesday.

Fee reported to be in region of 3M euros.

Looks like a great signing and certainly puts to bed any concerns I had about the new owner's spending power.

Don't worry it's all nervous bravado, Curtis has stirred the pot on pigsmad and got a shellacking, they are in denial stuck in the pits of S2 and they haven't heard of international players unless they have seen them on 'telly'
