    Don't knock Keogh

    I won't knock Keogh.
When you do as much as he does on a pitch, when you're involved as much as he is, you'll make the odd error.
Show me someone making no errors, and I'll show you someone doing nowt.
Even the Almighty Todd make occasional errors.
No, I say hold onto our money.Burnley - you keep 32 year old Shackell.
Derby, sign a stronger (defensively speaking) right back to give the overworked Richard Keogh some assistance.

    Must admit...I like Keogh.
With the right partner , a right back who can defend and George Thorne in front of the defence...I don't think we should complain...hopelessly exposed last year.

Totally agree. I'm happy with the CB's we have, they just need more support and cover from both full back positions and from midfield too. Yes Keogh makes his fair share of mistakes and spends a little too much time on his backside, but you have to look at why we get ourselves into each particular situation and to me it usually seems could've been dealt with better by the full back.

Think you might be in for one or two pelter's here though!!! Lol

Keogh was voted into the Championship Team of the Season by his peers who played in the Championship week in week out. That doesn't happen if you're a bad player and it definitely doesn't happen if you have a poor season.

Agree with all the above. Often wonder why fans knock their own players so much on the forums. Claude Davies and a few others apart I can't think of too many who've really deserved it.

Keogh does cop some stick which I think is undeserved. Imo he's a poor captain/spokesman but a good player. Over on the Burnley board they're all too well aware of the flack he gets, which - if he is to be part of any 'deal' - will hardly help our cause.

Christie is another one who the 'boo-boys' have a go at. Probably more vulnerable to the moaners in his position and very young. If he's to regain his confidence give him a break, he looked very good for the first three or four months of last season.

    I will knock him...
Absolute park footballer. So predictable we play a game guessing what he is going to do next... Im batting 90%.

Telegraphs passes, dives in too quickly, all way too predictable. Quick to blame others for HIS mistakes, not a leader in any way shape or form.. Not unless you count pumping the badge before the game and at half time.
In the Eustace envelope for me... A total myth.
We need better in order to challenge...

The only problem with that is that he did have a poor season. Endeavour is not enough.. God knows how he got voted into that team... Sympathy?
