Thread: Have we made a big mistake

Have we made a big mistake

I've just seen the FT score in the friendly at Grimsby, and no matter how Paul Clement chooses to comment about the game or result, the fact remains that we have lost to a team who are not in the football league.

I know this was a friendly, I know that 2 different teams played the game, and I know that avoiding injuries and starting to acquire match fitness was the main aim, but having accepted all those facts, a club that has aspirations to win promotion should be too good for a non-league team no matter what team is playing.

This is not the start that we want. Would be interested to know whether the defence looked any more secure at any time.

    Wtf!?!!?!?!?

    Even byy standards that's quick!

It's a friendly and he's given as many players as possible a run out. It means absolutely nothing. And they've had a week less than expected back in training.

Won't be until October to November until you get any sort of a real feel.
