Jorg Albertz = Timslayer of the highest repute

And you know what, the Yahoos hate him with a passion

    His howitzer in January 97

His cool pen on Huddle Sunday in 99

His kissing of the famous RFC badge

And I wonder of there are any other reasons they despise him

Bluke, you better look away now :-)

Jorg ALbertz was a great player, plenty dig and passion, and no little skill. Had a shot on him too that saw him score some good goals from outside the box if I recall correctly.

Not sure what he's got to do with 12th July though - is that his birthday?

As for him not signing for Celtic having played for Rangers, pretty much like a lot of players and Celtic players not signing for Rangers either, one would have thought.

We all know why they hate German George. A Catholic playing for Rangers.

I once heard a wee story from a mate. A Catholic from a certain town near loch Lomond where German George used to stay. He used to go to mass on his way to or back from training in his Ranges blazer and tie and the locals didn't like it. A delegation of them got together and went to the priest to get him to ask him not to wear rangers stuff in the chapel. He told them not to be so silly so I guess common sense won the day.
