    Motherwell for the Cup

Lots of good news around with good signings. Bright prospects. Lots of predictions about where we will finish in the league. A wee wish from a 70 year old. Let's win a cup this season. I would love it for myself, my son and my grandsons and the choir in the East Stand not to mention the likes of Keith L, Stevie H and others who have served the club well over recent years. I have seen too many Semi-Final and Final defeats!! Come on the 'Well!

We don't look much worse - if any - than the St Mirren or Killie sides which won cups recently and there's been all manner of dross in finals.

So while I don't see it either, there's no reason it's less likely than others.

Think we need to learn how to win a cup tie before we get to far ahead of ourselves. Our recent results and performances in cup ties leaves a lot to think about before we contemplate winning a trophy.

Outside of Celtic, we have as good a chance as anyone. A lot will depend on a favourable draw in any round we are in

This. For us, winning a cup TIE and progressing to the next round would be progress on the past few years shameful efforts, though thankfully we've no longer got Stuart McCall in charge who was hugely responsible for our embarrassing exits in recent times.

I can't see us winning a cup as I don't think we've got the squad for it but then the Kilmarnock, St.Mirren or Hearts sides of the last 3/4 years weren't anything special either and they ended up lifting silverware so who knows.

I would absolutely love to see us winning a trophy and if someone offered me a straight choice of an excellent league campaign with a 2nd/3rd or 4th placed finish and European qualification or a bottom six finish with anywhere from 6th to 10th AND a Cup w

I think we are all singing from the same hymn tune!
