    dave king on sky sports.

    interview with jim whyte.

i didnt catch the full interview but thought i,d post some important points that i did hear.

he kept reiterating the point that rangers supporters need to get back to outspending celtic and thats the only way rangers can get back to the top, and if they dont they will remain 2nd to celtic.

said he was going to talk to sports direct as to how the current deal isnt good for rangers or sports direct. said ashley was an astute businessman so cant really get whats hes hoping for realistically as surely ashley already has a good deal for himself, why would he want to renegotiate a deal which makes him less.

was asked by jim whyte whether he was going to further invest, he replied he would meet the running costs but then avoided saying more on the matter and started again about how rangers fans must start spending more money again the way they used to.

he wasnt pressed on his answer by whyte in the same manner whyte normally presses for answers at interviews

It was refreshing to get some honesty from King, saying Murray was 100% to blame for Rangers going out of business. Shame comical_ally and the rest of the buns can't show a bit of honesty on here. King not paying off the 5m loan to Ashley also shows he has no intention of 'investing'. Poor sally.

Looks whatever way you cut it that The Glib and Shameless Liar King just can't help telling lies - be it to the newspapers, radio, council telly, or even sky sports.

"give him time" will be the excuse peddled by the usual suspects.

Sevco pub team holding company must have millions of unissued shares which king can buy today and pay off Ashley, can't figure out why he doesn't do that to help the club out now

First things first this was NOT an interview more a Bun/King PR job, With sycophant JW drooling on every word. We had King showing how rich he was his lovely wine collection and then telling the punters THEY must cut back on their Buckfast and put the dosh into Sevco cuz it looks like he's nae putting his dosh in !!

Did the Bun hordes actually listen to what he said ? like Whyte Green et al afore him he want their money and for sure the gullible bams will fall over themselves to give it, Only to be moaning 2/3 years down the line ...Its happened again !!!

King was NEVER going to open his 'war-chest' and chuck zillions at The Bares. He likely doesn't actually have the cash for a start.
