Dave King believes Rangers are destined to live in Celtic's shadow for the foreseeable future unless he can persuade Sports Direct tycoon Mike Ashley to renegotiate the terms of his retail agreement with the Ibrox club.

One would have thought with a succession of conmen at the reins in ibrox over the years, their punters would have been a bit wiser in who they'd hail as their next messiah.
