If we do get promoted, would you?

If we got promoted would you consider increasing the capacity of the Ipro?
Obviously not straight away, but if we got ourselves established in the Prem?

Not really, I'd probably leave it to the club to sort out, think they'd have to get a firm in or something as it's quite a biggish job

Yes for deffo but not to big, another 10,000 seat would also benefit other events!

I know a brickie in Mackworth who's had a job fall through...can start Tuesday. Reckons it will take him a fortnight.

I would increase the attendance but I'd do it in some way so that if we suffered relegation, it could then be reduced back down to 32k or so

How do you do that? you may ask.. not sure but maybe when they extend the the stands upward to match the main stand they could then, when relegated, put in a strip of black and white boards, or something, to block the top 20 - 25 rows off all the way around the 3 sides of the ground. This would then keep the ground looking full and keep the atmosphere going rather than looking at loads of empty seats in a 44k stadium.

It may not work but neither does looking at half empty stadiums..I suppose they could lower season ticket prices and match day prices to fill the stadium

I believe that when built it was designed to be
modified at a later date to make it @ 46,000 capacity. As it would be steelwork it could be manufactured off sit & installed during closed season.

Have a look at the Etihad expansion, it would be done in a similar way.
