I read Zlatan is talking about going to MLS ....don't get it, I still do t think they can pay out huge wages.

As for Wickham, hopefully Dick is better at picking talent then the last few managers!

Not sorry to see Wickham go, but keen to see who the replacement is. I was believing the stories about Sow, but there's a report today that this isn't so.

Im surprised you are selling him. He's always looked decent when ive seen him and was the major part of keeping you in the Prem the season before last. He was a big prospect when you signed him with other clubs sniffing around. Has his head become too big/is he becming lazy?

i don't think Wickham has become lazy or big-headed ( well, no more than ANY PL player! ). I think he's reached his level, which is an average squad player.

He never fulfilled his potential and while he certainly played a big part in keeping us up 2 seasons back, that's pretty much all he did. Not disputing the value ( financially ) of what he did for us, but that doesn't give him a free pass for the next 10 years. Yes, he upped his game when playing against your lot, but rarely otherwise.

We'll never know if he would have improved under DA. However, Wickham has very little footballing 'nous' and for a big lad he gets pushed around far too easily.

I'm personally thrilled that we got near what we paid for him, but I think he could be a major disappointment for Pardew and Palace.

"Who will replace Wickham"? The invisible Man so far and he may even do a slightly better job if we can keep hold of him for Four Years because in all that time the only really creditable period Connor spent here was at the End of the Season before last when he came good with a flurry of late goals which definitely kept us in the Premiership, but for me he was a major disappointment most of the time..

Nyron kept him pretty quiet the other night playing for Dagenham against his new team Palace.....Good Luck to him anyway!
