Agree 100%.
I knew Jack, but never saw him play, but from all accounts he was a great centre forward. I have seen some old clips of him from the 40s and early 50s. He continued to attend every home game despite being totally blind in the later years of his life (attributed to constantly heading heavy leather footballs). He used to sit behind me at the BBG and had someone giving him a running commentary of the game. The Derby County player of the year award isd after him.
