    Barnsley Match

Looks like Mirfin will start tonight. Should be an interesting test for the squad with Williams and Canavan out long term and Daniels and probably Laird out too.

I think we can cope although the loss of Williams is the real blow. I always enjoy the games against Barnsley and I can see it being another entertaining encounter. Let's hope the crowd get behind them and get some positivity back after Saturday.

Going for a 2-1 win with goals from Madden and McSheffrey.

I'm just hoping for a better performance, and agree with 2 - 1, thinking Madden and KVV, who I think would do ok in the hole behind the strikers.

Come on Iron, do the biz!!

    re: Barnsley Match

Both teams evenly matched tonight and a game where both sets of strikers missed some glorious chances and the result could have gone either way before the penalties.

Joe Anyon produced two great penalty saves but we were ultimately undone by McAllister and Van Veen putting their penalties in Row Z. And yet another game where we have presented the opposition with a goal thanks to comical defending.

An entertaining game overall however between two average looking League One teams. Desperately need three points on Saturday to get us up and running.
