Early days in this season but is it going down the same route as last season.Already second worse goal difference in the league and now play only team in premier league who haven't conceded a goal this Saturdayly Aberdeen. We simply can't play at home with only one forward we have to have a real go at them and hopefully convert any chances into goals.I know that of the four goals we have lost, one an own goal, one when our keeper had wandered up the field to try for an equaliser and we got caught out,one a penalty and the other from open play. But we have to defend better to prevent the losing feeling becoming a habit.
Complete and utter cr@p. Waste of time money and effort watching this. Hardly a shot all night. Another assembled group of duds. 3 games in and already we know what we are having to put up with.
Utterly Abysmal performance. 750 fans turn up on a midweek and they don't have a single effort of note to applaud. There were no positives , no shape , no plan B and the midfield were utterly utterly honking. McDonald would have as well gone home he was shocking.
We were so far out of the game last nite it was unreal. Couldn't pass a ball, keep the ball, ,infact we did very little.Poor show from the team for a good healthy traveling support.
Time to get the tin helmets and flak jackets out, cause I think there is a lot more of that to come this season. - view external link
I've seen absolutely nothing, in either pre season, our games so far, or our summer signings to suggest that we won't be struggling badly again this year. As much as I'm not his biggest fan, when Pearson isn't in the team and/or firing on all cylinders, we have absolutely nothing in midfield, no link up to the forward line, no one able to break up play, no service and no goals. Lasley, as much as I love him, is far too old to be able to do this role, especially all by himself.
I said after the hype of the playoff win had died down that Ian Baraclough still had a long, long way to go to prove himself, and so far it's not looking too good. It was easy to forget in the hysteria of winning the playoff against 'Rangers' that we were in that fixture for a reason, that being that we had performed shockingly bad for the entire campaign last season and that result, especially given who it was against and magnitude of it and the manner of our victory, bought Baraclough a lot more time than h
Agree last night was total crap but we're 3 games in lost 2 0 to team top of league last season we were losing 5 0 to accies etc so although need to improve greatly on last nights performance it's not as bad as last season yet
