    How long now

So he has his own players in place his own back room staff in place revamped the structure of the club yet we are no better off than last season .3 games in 3 points don't expect anything from this week end so how long does the club allow Baraclough to remain as manager .Terrible performance last night no plan B and a team devoid of ideas ,the preseason expectation has quickly gone after 3 games and reality has set in ,we will be in the bottom six and more than likely bottom 3 . We were lucky that Rangers were rotten in the play offs we might not be as lucky this time .Time to go IB

A bit soon to be talking about sacking him, but he has to turn it around fairly soon. Four strikers signed and one goal in three games isn't good enough. I wasn't at the game last night but according to reports we were pants. He got his tactics wrong against utd playing only one up front. He will have pick points up soon or we could be in for another relegation scrap.

After 3 games win 1 lost to a team at home we have lost to 7 out of 8 last home games and to team top of league with 100 per cent record and you want manager out unreal

Most people said we'd been given a very hard start to the season - so there's no point in demanding the manager sacked when we duly struggle through that hard start.

I'd give Baraclough the first round of games before seriously considering his position. Losing to Hearts and Aberdeen won't really be a problem this season if we're beating Killie, Thistle, Accies etc.

So we will just struggle along on the fact that we haven't done well against most teams recently and not to expect to much from IB ,before we know it we will be adrift again with probably two other teams then panic will set in by that time it will be to late Cmon have some ambition at least a top 6 finish

When we were utterly rubbish last season and finished 11th, why on earth would you target "at least" a top six finish? Transformations such as under McGhee are special because they're incredibly rare. Even Butcher taking us to sixth in 2004 was completely unexpected.

Progress for this season is not being in danger of being relegated - and we'll only know where we stand in that regard when we play other likely strugglers.

I'm not a huge fan of Baraclough and I said at times last season that regardless of whether we went up or down, I didn't see him lasting past autumn...I think him lasting that long is still up in the air but sacking him for losing to Dundee United, Hearts and (likely) Aberdeen, four games into the season is daft. He's brought his players in and we can only see where we likely stand when everyone has played everybody else.

He's got until the end of the month in my opinion. If we haven't amassed a minimum of four points from the games against St.Johnstone and Kilmarnock and progressed in the League Cup against East Fife then we need a change of manager.

How blind can people be? This is the exact same scenario as last year.A tough start my backside What is an easy start ? We have a guy in charge who I said we had to give time to but I'm afraid he is starting to look as clueless as McCAll.What I witnessed last night was shocking .Three games in and already I can see we are totally spineless/ clueless. A joke already.

    re: How long now

What is easy to forget given the hysteria and emphatic nature of the playoff victory is that Ian Baraclough oversaw a disastrous run last season from the turn of the year until mid February where we picked up one solitary point and went from 10th to bottom and then 11th where we remained for the duration, and the performances during that run were utterly diabolical. Then towards the end of the season we failed to turn up in several key matches away from home and lost to Partick, Hamilton and St.Mirren with absolutely awful displays which condemned us to the playoffs. And there's the small matter of him thinking that Anthony Straker was a footballer!

The playoff bought him a bit more time but it cannot be allowed to be forgotten that we ended up there in the first place because of our utterly abysmal form and performances throughout the season. He needs to start proving himself quickly but the early signs just aren't promising atall, and the same goes for his summer signings.
