A few of my thoughts from last night

I went to the game last night and just thought I'd share my opinions on some of the individual performances instead of the predictable same stuff (Clement out after two games)

Grant - Should never be allowed near the first team again. Never seen a 'keeper crumble as much as he has in the past six months.
Sse*********ambo - Disappointing. Thought he got caught out of position numerous times but looked dangerous going forward. But has got things to learn if he ever wants to be a first teamer
Pearce/Shackell - Don't seem to have been given the same tactics as the rest of the team. Kept trying long/direct balls up field that lost possession every time.
Baird - First half was our best player. Second half wish he came off.
Hendrick - Needs to really step up his game now we have lost Hughes and Bryson. Poor last night.
Dawkins - Can't have him as a replacement for Hughes. Tactical knowledge of the game is non-existent
Weimann - Terrible. Go as far as saying he was the second most us

Not often the spectators get a better view than the fans watching it on TV!

Always better to be there I think.

You get a better feeling for space and movement etc.

Then re-watch afterwards on TV for replays etc. if you are a really sad *********.

Russell had a very good game. Look like his is becoming the player most of us knew he cold be. Or are we just wallowing in negatives?

Think Russell was more willing to take risks than the other attacking players. I wouldn't say he had a good game but was the best out of a bad bunch going forward.

Sometimes when things aren't going the right way, simply running at the opposition can pay off. He was the only one seemingly willing to give it a go.

Spot on Ram Bam. He's gut some guts, but a bit of end product missing.

Very poor in creativity last night from the midfield and attack. The real leader on the pitch was Jason Shackell who was the man of the match and the only person who got us a shot on goal all game. How can we keep going on like this with having 1 shot on target which is relegation standard, we had that all last season at home and nothing has changed and as we are aiming for promotion big changes are dramastically needed. Time to bring in some creativity by bringing in a playmaker who can assist Darren Bent who was by far the worst player on the pitch last night but take into credit he hardly got assisted by anyone and he is not alone in that case with Chris Martin and Ince also not hardly getting any service. With people calling for Paul Clement's to be sacked it is dam to far early to call for his head just yet if we are to judge him it will be against Middlesbrough at home after the Charlton game on Saturday.
