blah, blah......."scottish players are nae good enough tae be on the same pitch as ma yahoos".....blah, blah
pick it oot the net sonny![]()
Is Collins tall ??
Don't think he is that tall ,but he is a complete prlck
Looking back, the Collins statement was F*********ny as Fhuck
What about big daft Derek McInnes comments after winning 3-0 in Croatia
"No-one will test our discipline domestically like that"
especially when you finished 17 points behind and lost 4 out of 4 to one of these 'domestic' clubs
"what about"
you can easy tell when you've got the yahoos on the ropes when they start resorting tae the auld "what abootery"![]()
I think Collins comments were stupid. There you go no whateboutery. Now on to McInnes who made similar comments ...that were even more daft given Aberdeen's record against Celtic. Over to you
Things to be taken into consideration.
1. Celtics budget for players wages are approx. 5 x anyone else in Scotland
2. Celtic/Rangers have continually signed players from other Scottish clubs that have done well against them, so no wonder they are better while making other clubs weaker.
3. Celtic are now basically a stepping stone/selling club for players from Europe. Virgyl VD for example strolls the SPFL games granted but in Europe is gash.
mmmm very true......you beat us 4 times last season.
however one o those games, especially one o the games at pittodrie if it wasn't for you getting the rub o the green **......then who knows how that game could have ended.
we stretched the league out till end o apr - may......which is longer than most people predicted.
and every year the points difference gets whittled doon more n more.....imagine come the transfer window in jan if were still on yer tail (assuming of course that yer top o the league)....how many more ££££££ will you need to spend to win the league against teams o no hopers
** see refereeing errors
that's all well and good for trying to explain why Celtic are ahead of the competition but it doesn't really address what McInnes said about 'not being tested domestically' which is daft as a brush re celtic and insulting to other clubs
or is it a case both Collins and McInnes were both illustrating the challenges of playing in Europe but should have thought before they opened their mouths.
