Thread: George Thorne

    George Thorne

I thought he looked the one positive thing to come out of last night. Strong, commanding and always looking for the forward pass. Instantly controlled an area previously left empty by 2 players. Thoughts??

Completely agree - controlled the midfield, strong with an eye for pass akin to a master locksmith, a class act! If he stays fit he will be immense this season.
I was also impressed with Shackell and Russell and Baird was steady. I'm convinced it will only take a few personnel and tactical tweaks to see this team begin to fire to be honest

George Thorne is quality at FLC level.
Let's hope a good proportion of his team mates are of similar ability.

The man is god. Simple as that. We'll lose him if we don't go up.

Great player his tackling and passing vision must be the best in the Championship But our troubles at the moment are further up the field Think we need to be really patient with the team at the moment we could struggle until we get a couple of midfielders in
