    Tom Huddlestone

Steve Bruce says they are 'powerless' over Tom Huddlestone and are unable to prevent him leaving if any club matches the release clause in the midfielder's contract. West Ham have confirmed interest in signing ex-Tottenham man Huddlestone. Steve Bruce says: "I am sure West Ham, like anybody, knows he has a buy-out in his contract and if they get to that figure i am powerless." Bruce added:"The agents will be touting him around everywhere, which i know they are. But there's nothing i can do." As most fans would like to see this fan favourite back at the club this should be an opportunity not to be missed.

If you are talking about him coming back...he would want to be premier league, and I for one think that he hasn't got a position,...good passer, poor tackler too, slow, for midfield..,the way we play ..unless he replaced gorgeous George,,,,NEVER!

He wouldn't be on the bench if he played for us that's for sure and will really strengthen our midfield and that extra spice in creativity that we are missing.

I understand why you wouldn't replace a very good, 22 year old but Tom Huddlestone is currently better than George Thorne!

George Thorne can't be replaced anyway he is too damn good had a 97% pass rate against Charlton on Saturday.

DerbyDaDream, can you stop with these rumours? Huddlestone would play in the same position as our best player so it would never make sense in a million years. I'd have Thorne over Huddlestone every single day of the week.

Did i say i would swap George Thorne nope not in a million years all I'm saying is we need to boost other areas of our midfield in attack wise.
