    Excellent business

Butterfield and Bradley Johnson should keep the boo boys quiet for at least another 45minutes
Absolute quality from derby county in securing these two players!

First time I can say we can have a really good fight to try and get out of this league now and turn things around, just what the doctor's ordered to give us the boost we have been searching for. ^_^

How short memories are...it was only 17 months ago that we were denied that place by 10 men with a last minute goal at Wembley. Was that not a really good enough fight for you?

Too early to say yet. It's only excellent business if they integrate fully into the team, add to it's strengths and stay clear of injury, plus of course if you have a good manager in charge which is yet to be proved.

After their transfers fell through, we can get De Gea and Berahino on loan now!

I'm extremely happy with what Derby have done today. Really good show of ambition. And whilst I'm not a 'boo boy', you can't say that you wouldn't have been disappointed had we not signed anyone today?

£10 million quid on two players - excellent business?

If it works then it works. If it doesn't then it's nothing short of calamitous! We spent how much in the summer and how well have we started the season? Big money signings aren't always the answer - the quality of the player is one thing, whether they fit in is another. We're just throwing money at it now and I understand how some fans are happy with that - most are unless it goes wrong.

I hope to god these guys are worth it. But I've never been a fan of trying to buy success and I never will be.

I think this thread shows just how the true supporter has gone and the throw money at it buy success fans have emerged!

Good business based on unproven players paying over the odds and God knows what on wages. It's more than a gamble it's playing with the clubs future.

During the days of rebuilding I always stated I wasn't a fan of a suger daddy throwing money at it and I stand by that today. What pride can you get out of trying to outspend other teams to get success. It's no longer a competition. Many on here were slating qpr for doing it now many are lording it now the boot is on the other foot. How fickle!

Good business my *********! It what's ruined football in this country and killing the game here as a whole. If we fail to go up then see how good it is. It's as good as me maxing out all my available credit in the hope I win the lottery. How clever is that?

2.4 Ram don't talk utter crap about allegiances, Derby thick and thin and if we didn't pull these two major signings today we would be in deep poop and the pressure would be on Paul Clement but now with these two additions it has taken the pressure of him a little and we can start to kick our selfs back into gear and get our first win of the season.
