Keep POLITICS off this FOOTBALL forum please.

Can these "wanabee politicians" go and find another message board. It's always the same "knowitall" culprits that pollute this forum.Go and get on the BBC or Guardian chat sites that probably hold similar views. There is no wonder less people come on here now.Football topics only please.End of rant.

Hypocrite warning: "Thank you very much Rotherham Council covering each others backs, turning the blind eye.You have brought total shame to this town. This is beyond belief that this could have happened in the town for so many years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" from Feb this year.

People have been talking politics on this forum for over a decade. Its not going to change.

I agree, this is a football site and no place for the likes of John2 and his pathetic, naive drivel.

Can we limit it please mods?

    Better still, remove the threads.

I don't mind other threads being put up but certain people just use this board for politics and nothing more.
Best thing to do is ignore it if it doesn't interest you and don't comment, it just feeds them.
I have nothing more to say.

Yes Millertop ignoring those shallow people might work but surely the mods could clamp down on this abuse of a football message board?

A quick delete of political threads by the mods would quickly solve the issue.

Or isn't that a moderators duty?

    Jolly roger in hypocrisy shocker.

Its about the first political thread I've STARTED in over 10 years posting.

Jolly has started them loads of times over the years... as soon as I start one it should be deleted.

And its the "liberal doo-gooders" who are a threat to 'free speech'?

A football message board?....or a Rotherham United fans message board? There's a subtle difference.

I, like everyone else, visit this site for Millers news/discussion, but the OT stuff is also interesting, including the political threads. I particularly like how John2 manages to get under JR's skin without ever breaking sweat!

Anyway, the OT stuff is easy to spot. If you don't like it, and if you think your "sensibilities" might be offended, just ignore it!

I like football and I like politics (5live seem to think the concept is a flier too) and I think John2 is a good poster and makes interesting points. Don't like the OT topics don't read them/complain about them.
